SRAM is dedicated to perfecting the 1x Eagle Drivetrain. The Eagle Transmission integrates the frame, wheel, and drivetrain for optimum stiffness to bring advanced shifting performance. This approach to mountain bike drivetrains sets the bar for how shifting should be.

Eagle Transmission has been designed and engineered for the world’s most demanding riders. Built around the universal constant; the wheel axle. By integrating the derailleur directly into the frame using UDH technology, the result makes for an incredibly strong, fully integrated wireless transmission that literally changes how we ride. The robust design increases the lifespan of the components while shifting flawlessly under maximum power. SRAM recognized the weakest parts of the derailleur and eliminated them. Without a hanger, limit, or finicky b-screws, set up is a breeze. A truly set it and forget it system.

The SRAM XX SL Groupset is the lightest offering within the Eagle Transmission lineup. Designed for the XC racer or a shorter travel trail bike when weight savings is a top priority.
