The Unior 617170 Chain Wear Checker is a super handy, easy-to-use tool that will let you know if it’s time to change your chain. If you replace your chain early enough you will prevent premature wear to your cassette and chain ring.

How to use the tool:

To alleviate poor shifting and uneven drive train wear, most manufacturers recommend chain replacement at or before 0,6% stretch. Now you can quickly and accurately determine the wear and stretch of any chain. Simply insert the chain checker`s pins into two links, press the swing arm gauge tight, and then check the gauge window for an accurate reading.
